The Storm Bracelet

Many traditional Native American Tribes worshipped the natural forces like storms, thunder and lighting through ritual and ceremony. Thunder is ksiistsikomm in Blackfoot, meaning sky being. Thunder is personified as Thunder Bird who travels with storm clouds. Lightning is the path left by Thunder Bird. Thunder Bird is believed to be a supernatural person whose home is near the summit of Chief Mountain. The beads in this bracelet are all Montana agate with sterling silver closure parts. No stones were taken from Glacier National park.
